Chair from the 1950s, with curved solid ash frame. The seat is soft, covered with thick red vinyl. The cane of the backrest is in perfect condition. Metal plate signed "Bow Wood". Wilhelm Von Bode drew this model in 1948. The chair is stable, comfortable and in very good condition. Several chairs available, unit price indicated.

Über den Designer

Wilhelm VON BODE

Wilhelm von Bode war ein deutscher Kunsthistoriker und Kunstsammler. Er wurde am 10. Dezember 1845 in Calvörde geboren und starb am 1. März 1929 in Berlin. Er ist hauptsächlich für seine Arbeit als Direktor des Berliner Museums (heute Bode-Museum) bekannt, wo er mehrere wichtige Ausstellungen organisierte und viele Kunstwerke für die Sammlung des Museums erwarb.
