Vintage leather armchair by Geoffrey Harcourt for Artifort, Netherlands 1970s

A beautiful lounge chair designed by Geoffrey Harcourt, model F142, manufactured by Artifort in the Netherlands around 1970. This lovely piece is made of high quality blue coloured leather. The piece has a very comfortable seat and tall and tilted backrest for maximum seating comfort. It stands on a blue metal trumpet base with a swivel mechanism. A lovely find of Dutch design that will make a unique addition to the decor It remains in good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
