Danish mid century dining set by Ole Gjerløv-Knudsen and Torben Lind for France & Son

An extraordinary Danish Mid Century vintage teak and wenge Model 550 space saving dining table designed by Ole Gjerløv-Knudsen and Torben Lind matched to a set of 6 Inger Klingenberg Model 193 chairs. This vintage Danish dining set is a perfect match of form and function by 3 of the most innovative designers of the Mid Century Modern period. Each design features sinuous shapes and curves that combine to create a versatile and comfortable dining set that exudes quality and craftsmanship. Both designs were produced by master furniture makers France & Son who were often referred to as the Rolls Royce of Danish Furniture manufacturers and each piece is presented in excellent vintage condition. As can be seen with reference to the accompanying photographs, in the extended circular configuration the set can seat 6 but it’s versatility allows it to be reduced to a space saving size to seat 4; thus making it an ideal choice for a smaller apartment or dining area.
