Vintage chandelier "Chevron" with 9 lights in brass & chrome by Sciolari, Italy 1970s

Sciolari chandelier ’Chevron’ 9 lights brass & chrome, 1970’s ca, Italian. This chandelier has been gently cleaned while respecting the vintage patina. It is newly rewired & earthed with 2 metres of grey silk cable. It is fully working, PAT tested by an electrician and ready to install. Light bulbs are included in this price. This chandelier can work with a dimmer. It is possible to use this light in other countries although it may be necessary to purchase different light bulbs suitable to local electricity. This 1970’s Sciolari chandelier has a high quality chrome & brass frame arranged in a zigzag or chevron shape. The sculptural Modernist design consists of a center hexagonal column in polished chrome from which there are 3 arms which further divide into two external arms. The main central column continues at the top towards the tubular polished chrome rod & ceiling cup. Surrounding the central column there are 9 lateral columns also of hexagonal form. Each is polished chrome with a light at the top. The bottom of each column is finished with a chrome plated hexagonal cover. These columns radiate from the central column as well as joined together with horizontal bands; these are highly polished brass & chrome. Each lamp holder carries one standard (E14) light bulb up to 40 Watts. At present photographed & fitted with Pygmy clear light bulbs of 15 Watts which are included in the price. Other (E14) bulb shapes could be used for a different look. At the top, the chrome rod unscrews from the frame for easy transport. This rod can also be shortened or replaced with a chain if needed. It finishes at the top in a ring with a removable S hook to fit to the ceiling, all this covered by the ceiling cup. Additional dimensions: The total Height of the chandelier with the rod is 65 cm.
