Mid century Sommerso vase by Murano, Italy 1960s

The vase was produced using the Sommerso technique on the Italian island of Murano in the 1960s. A massive block of heavy glass, polished into regular large facets, which refract light, giving beautiful prisms. A dark burgundy-colored vase with a transparent bottom. Vase in good condition, a few damages visible in the photos.
