Vintage music shelf in solid walnut, 1920

Solid walnut musical shelf, composed of four identical trays, unevenly spaced. The solid wood frames are cut and moulded, with a superb walnut veneer in the centre, arranged in four leaves. All the shelves are supported by solid walnut balusters. These are swollen and soberly turned, ending in spinning feet fixed on castors. The top, entirely in solid blond walnut, is smaller than its counterparts and is set back slightly. A charming cut-out element forming a lyre, embellished with volutes on each side, completes the first level of this piece of furniture. This shelf rests on two elaborate consoles, topped with pointed bobbins. We appreciate the practical dimensions of this long shelf, full of lightness, literally and figuratively. The successful sculptures of this music furniture will bring a lot of refinement to the room you will use it in. Period: 1920. Excellent condition after restoration in our workshop.
