Vintage serving spoon by Christofle, 1950s

Vintage mid-century silver plated serving spoon made by the famous French silverware and tableware company, Christofle, circa 1950s. Known as the "stew spoon", this large spoon is used for serving sauces or stews. The piece is in very good original condition, with very slight traces of age, use and a patina commensurate with time. The maker's mark and the silver content are present on the piece (see photo). Height : 28cm.
