Pair of vintage brass candelabras, France 1930s

Fantastic pair of two (2),matching, brass candelabras, from France, circa 1930’s. Both of these antique pieces are of a gorgeous, golden color, that feature a beautiful pedestal made up of a knop, column and base, that has lovely, carved floral décor reminiscent of the Art Nouveau period, above which there are two "arms" with 4 candle holders (aka "sconces"), and a 5th one at the center, which is known as a "capital." Each vine-like "arm" (technically known as a "labra" for "candelabra"), are actually 2 "swing arms", which means that they can be moved into different positions or folded, if someone has a narrower space or mantel. Underneath each candle holder, is a circular "drip pan", also designed with exquisitely detailed flower petals or leaves like peonies. The candle holders themselves, are somewhat tulip-shaped and are adorned with a design similar to the circumference of the bases. Both candelabras are in very good, original, vintage condition with, of course, some light signs of age and previous usage, as well as a patina of time. Please note, because these are vintage pieces that are close to 100 years old, some of the candle holders are not perfectly centered, but this does not affect their ability to be used. With this said, please also note, that due to the age of these pieces, the swing arms will need to be adjusted gently by hand, when tightening into desired positions. The candelabras have only been gently dusted, cleaned and polished (not scrubbed), to both preserve and respect their beautiful, original patina of time.
