Vintage armchair by Hartmut Lohmeyer for Wilkhahn, 1950s

The model 411 chair shown here is a design by Hartmut Lohmeyer for Wilkhahn. It is a piece of furniture with excellent form, made of the highest quality materials. This chair is extremely comfortable, a combination of excellent form and thoughtful function. The backbone of the chair is made of wood, while the plywood seat is filled with plastic foam, which makes it comfortable to sit on. The upholstery is made of floral tapestry. The armrests also make the chair a great choice for the office. Wood preserved in original condition, refreshed. Traces of time have been left and protected. Padding and upholstery on the seat replaced with new ones.
