Über dieses Vintage-Designmöbel

Drinking glass, Asimmetrico, designed by Joe Colombo in 1964 and produced since 1968 by the Austrian company Riedel of Kufstein. Colombo's first version, called "Smoke", designed for Arnolfo di Cambio, has a shorter stem than the "Asimmetrico", with a flattened base. Colombo then designed the Asimmetrico, intended for use at receptions where the user was standing. The stem has a longer, rounded shape that fits into the palm between the thumb and forefinger, while the cup rests directly on the back of the hand, allowing the hand to be opened and turned without tipping the glass. The glasses are in excellent condition and show no signs of wear. Each glass is engraved with the designer's name and the company name (see photo). Drinking glass, 'Asimmetrico', clear glass, with a large moulded cylindrical bowl and a solid asymmetrical stem attached to one side of the bowl, the stem being moulded in two parts, with the moulding joint visible.
