Vintage hanging lamp by Louis Kalff for Philips, Netherlands 1950s

A lovely hanging lamp designed by Louis Kalff, manufactured by Philips in the Netherlands around 1950. This lovely piece has a terra coloured metal top with narrow perforations as a lovely detail. The milk glass hood has a lovely funnel shape which allows a nicely diffused light to emit and create a nice atmosphere throughout the room It remains in very good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
