Parchment tanned light cream large ashtray bowl. Designed and executed by Aldo Tura. Italy 1960s. Along with artists such as Piero Fornasetti and Carlo Bugatti, Aldo Tura (1909-1963) is one of the mavericks of Italian design. Tura concentrated on the application of a specific material. Tura founded his workshop in Milan in 1939 and the company has been in business ever since. 26 cm diameter x 8 cm height Condition: as new.
