The mirror is in very good condition. There is a cord to turn the lamp on and off. This lamp would look great in a bathroom, but of course, it is also a beautiful image in the hallway or entrance. This is a very nice large oval mirror made of plexiglass, made in Germany with the design of Hillebrand.
