Vintage sofa green corduroy 1960s

This 2 seater corduroy sofa was made by Gavina or Knoll in the 1960s. It is in good condition with a noticeable patina. The dark brown wood frame shows signs of wear on the upper arms and back, but these give the sofa a certain something. The green rope cover on the cushions is in good condition with slight signs of wear. Afra & Tobia Scarpa designed the Bastiano chairs in the 1960s for the Italian manufacturer Gavina, known for its extraordinary designer furniture. The Bastiano was subsequently accepted for production by Knoll Int.
