Vintage suspension lamp by Poul Henningsen Denmark 1990s

The PH 5 lamp is a Danish design icon that has gained immense popularity worldwide. The PH 5 was designed by the eminent designer and architect Poul Henningsen in 1958 and has been produced by Louis Poulsen until today. The shape of the lamp was designed on the principle of a reflective system that directs light not only downwards, but also to the sides, illuminating the lamp itself. Thanks to its structure, the PH 5 provides a diffused, glare-free light in a warm tone. The lamp is in very good condition, with minimal traces of time in the form of a natural patina. The color of this example is white-ecru. Dimensions: diameter : 50cm height : 26,7 cm The lamp has been carefully cleaned, it is equipped with a new braided cable of about 2 meters long.
