The lid is made of silver vacuum glass with the properties of a thermos. The base is made of colourless pressed glass with relief decoration in the form of a large rosette. Handle in ivory bakelite. The condition of the item is very good, it shows few signs of use. In the 1920s, Isola specialized in the production of various bakelite parts for the low-voltage electrical industry, especially for Telegrafia (mainly telephone and radio boxes). In the 1930s, it began to produce containers, thermos flasks and other kitchen items. Since the 1930s, Isola has been known as the producer of some of the best bakelite in Europe. During the Second World War, Isola was run by the German occupiers (it was part of the Reichswerke Hermann Göring AG) and was considerably modernised - at the beginning of 1941 a huge new line for the production of vacuum glass was built. From then on, Isola started to produce thermos cans for the Nazi army. After the Second World War, Isola was nationalised and continued to produce bakelite thermos cans.
