Pair of vintage Nova pendants by Jo Hammerborg, Fog og Mørup, 1943

Brass lamp consisting of four shades. The outer lenses are tinted yellow to ensure warm light reflection. The small lampshade that hides the bulb holder has a dark gray coating to soften the light downwards. When lit, the lamp is soft and does not glare downwards, making it ideal for low-hanging, and the glossy surface captures and reflects the contours of the surrounding space. One of the few themes that ran through Jo Hammerborg’s work at Fog & Mørup in the 1960s was that lamps were often manufactured from three different metals - copper, brass, and aluminum. The lamps are in very good condition, almost perfect, with natural signs of use. Dimensions: diameter: 41cm height: 18cm The lamps have been thoroughly cleaned and have a new approx. 2-meter cable. Additionally, the headlining is attached to the lamp.
