The burgundy, creamy white and the gold colour of the brass blend together perfectly. Very good workmanship, it is thus composed of metal, bakelite and brass. It has been revised and works perfectly. Tommaso Barbi was a very active designer in the 60's and 70's and is well known for his leaf lamp. Very close to the Hollywood Regency style he used a lot of brass but also Murano glass or marble in his creations. There are a few slight snags on the lampshade or a slight oxidation of the brass.
