Über dieses Vintage-Designmöbel
These three dining chairs were originally designed by the Thonet company in 1904, and can be found in Thonet sales catalogues as model number 13. These particular pieces are believed to be made by the Thonet company in one of their factories in former Czechoslovakia around 1930. The design of these chairs is similar to model No. 3 and No. 23 but this one was designed with four additional supports between the seat and the backrest. The round seat with the slender circular support and the gentle arc of the legs are both a trademark of Thonet design in the early 20th century. These type of chairs were very popular not only for their comfort but they were also often used by architects in restaurants all around the world due to the nature of their design fitting perfectly into any interior - whether modern or traditional. All three chairs are in great vintage condition with only minor wear and tear. The chairs have been recently completely refurbished to its former glory. Our experienced craftsman has carried the restoration to the highest standard, reviving the beautiful natural pattern of both the seat and the backrest which were subsequently finished by hand in Shellac varnish.
