Vintage Semi pendant lamp by Bonderup & Thorup for Lyfa, Denmark 1968

A single lamp based on two connected quadrants of a circle. The characteristic arc-shaped enamelled metal screen creates a diffused and matching light, perfectly above the dining table or kitchen table. Thanks to its unique and timeless design and its range of colours and sizes, the semi pendant lamp is extremely versatile and is suitable for both private and public spaces. Semi was designed in 1968, the result of a creative partnership between Claire Bonderup and Torsten Thorup. Bonderup and Thorup wanted to produce a lamp with clean, clean lines and a geometric shape. Their project was submitted to the School of Architecture competition and won first prize. The lamp is in very good condition, with slight signs of use, and has a light padding on the edges of the lamp. It is an original copy from the 80's, produced at the time by Lyf. The lamp has been cleaned and a new braided cable about 2 meters long has been installed.
