Pair of vintage Chairs in Walnut and Velvet by A.A.Patijn Art Deco 1950s

A classical, Italian inspired, set of chairs in solid walnut with a striped mohair (velvet) upholstery. This set, with a high back ’Men’s’ model and the lower ’Ladies’ model was designed by Dutch furniture designers Abraham Patijn during the 1950s. A great Art Deco design with the curved, sculptural shaped armrests, and manufactured with great craftsmanship. Forget stylist Jindrich Halabala, this is a much more rare and unique set. The set, executed in the striped moss colored velvet, has been recently reupholstered and in very good condition. Seat height is 38 cm
