Über dieses Vintage-Designmöbel

Large dining room table, model Quatour, designed by Italian Architect Carlo Scarpa (1906-1978)for Gavina, 1974. This geometrical shaped, ash veneered, table has a warm ’white washed’ finish. Especially the legs are iconic and eye catching. The table can seat easily 8 people, and if need 12. The condition of this original and vintage table is quite good. No instabilities or missing parts. The table top has some light ’water damage’, which means the veneer has risen in some parts as you can see on the last images. These bumbs are only visible in ’grazing’ light. So it depends on where you sit at the table and how the lights falls on the top, that you are able to see these ’inconsistencies’. Images 8, 9 and 10 are all of the same corner, and show that the ’bumb’ only shows in specific light. Therefor when in use, these inconsistencies will not be very distracting. We have re-coated the table top in a high quality Danish wax, to protect it again from the first use.
