Signed sommerso glass vase by Vicke Lindstrand for Kosta (Sweden), 1950s. Blue colour encased in pale grey layer and surrounded by clear glass. Height: 17 cm. Width: 8 cm. Depth: 6 cm. Colours: blue, pale grey and clear. Signed and numbered to the base: ’Kosta LH 1826’. Original label still intact. Very good vintage condition.

Vicke LINDSTRAND

Vicke Lindstrand war ein schwedischer Designer und Künstler, der am 17. Juni 1904 in Malmö, Schweden, geboren wurde und am 7. Oktober 1983 in Kosta, Schweden, verstarb. Er ist vor allem für seine Arbeit als Glasdesigner für das schwedische Unternehmen Orrefors bekannt.
