Über dieses Vintage-Designmöbel

The bookcase was made in the 1970s. It was designed by the Danish design icon Johannes Sorth. The structure is covered with teak veneer. The legs and handles are made of solid teak. Surface after refreshing. Inside the space has been filled with practical shelves. Shelves are adjustable in height. The interior of the bookcase has a practical solution of sliding doors in the middle of the furniture and three large drawers in the lower part. Additionally, it has a pull-out top which gives us the possibility to use the bookcase as a handy desk. The bookcase is an ideal solution for a large collection of books to be used in a small living space. Additionally, it has a great function as a bookcase for collector’s items. Condition: The surface of the bookcase after refreshing. Visible small scratches and small cavities that have been replenished. It has one hole in the back wall. Johannes SORTH

Johannes Sorth war ein bekannter dänischer Designer, der 1937 geboren wurde und 2017 verstarb. Er ist vor allem für seine Arbeit im Bereich des Industriedesigns bekannt, insbesondere für seine modernen und eleganten Möbelentwürfe. Sorth studierte an der Königlich Dänischen Kunstakademie in Kopenhagen, wo er 1963 seinen Abschluss machte.
