Anodized aluminum TV lamp made in Italy in the 1950s. This type of lamp was used on top of black and white televisions to decrease eye fatigue, as television was often watched with the lights off. This type of lamp was used to reduce the contrast between the darkness and the illumination given by the television set. Nowadays the recommended use is as a bedside lamp. In excellent condition, to report a very small dent on the diffuser, close to the handle.
