Vintage Bronze and Art Nouveau glass lamp

This French Art Nouveau period lamp is in an exceptional condition from A to Z. Made of aged bronze, it has a circular base with an engraved floral decoration resembling a large dahlia and leaves engraved on the body, leading to the "col de cigne" known in French, like a neck, bent like a swan. The brass socket is fitted with a 3 screw ring, with which the amazing milk glass (opaline) lampshade, which looks like a petunia or a morning glory flower and ends with subtle, warmer edges, can be inserted, fixed and held in place. Underneath the base is a signature that seems to read "P. Chues", which could indicate its maker. There are also two "keys" or screws engraved with a "bud". That of the The base, loosens and tightens, so the height can be adjusted by lowering or raising it. The top one can also be loosened and then tightened to adjust or tilt the blind in different positions (see photos). This magnificent lamp is in excellent condition, original, with traces of age and use over time (see photos). ~ Patina consistent with age and time. ~ It has simply been dusted and cleaned delicately, in order to preserve the original patina as well as possible. ~ The lamp has been tested and works perfectly (see last picture.) ~ It is delivered with its original cord, but the switch and the plug have been replaced. at some point. All these elements are also in perfect in working order. ~ It has a bayonet socket and works with a B22 flame-shaped bulb (not supplied). ~ European plug: Up to 250 volts.
