Vintage desk Bailiff by Pierre Guariche for Meurop , 1961

Rare "bailiff's" model desk by Pierre Guariche for Meurop, 1961. Teak veneer and black lacquered metal structure. Small metal handles. Model similar to the "standard" desk of the same range, but with slightly reduced dimensions: 125cm wide instead of 140cm. Very rarely offered for sale, it was manufactured only a few months in 1961 before being removed from the manufacturer's range. It is in very good original condition, a few small marks of use and old repairs. A slight discoloration of the tray at the probable location of a desk pad.
