Vintage Stag C Range Walnut Chest Of Drawers By John Sylvia Reid

A stunning chest of drawers by John and Sylvia Reid for Stag and their "C Range", featuring beautiful lines which gives this piece a great modern look. The walnut contrasts the black line surrounding the drawers perfectly. The piece sits of four black tapered legs. The original Stag furniture logo is present in the central drawer. The three drawers provide excellent storage. The “C” range was the first range that the multi-talented team of John & Sylvia Reid designed for Stag. The “C” stands for Cumberland and the range proved hugely popular. The drawers feature a clever recessed cut-out handle and the proportions are very unique. These pieces have a very utilitarian feel to them and have become more sought after over the past few years. The walnut has a stunning patina that only age can achieve. A very desirable piece, in superb restored condition Please do not confuse this chest of drawers with some of the others available. This Piece has been fully restored - stripped of all its old tired finish, cleaned with an ultra fine steel wool, and finally given three coats of a top quality wax oil bringing the piece back to its original superb satin finish. Frame is solid with no loose joints. No chips or fillers in this piece. A great addition to any mid century - modern home or office.
