Über dieses Vintage-Designmöbel

Very nice teak threading dating from the 1960s. With its pure and elegant lines and its pretty tapered base, this piece of furniture is typical of the style of the great modernist and Scandinavian designers of the time. A fine example of the work of the quality publisher "Morris of Glasgow", a preferred supplier to the British Royal Family who was commissioned in 1947 to design and furnish a bedroom for Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip as a wedding gift. Morris of Glasgow was also responsible for the fitting-out and furnishing of many Cunard Line transatlantic liners, including the Queen Mary 2 in 1930 and the QE2 (Queen Elizabeth II) in 1967. The enfilade consists of a drawer lined with green felt, and two hinged door compartments with shelves, and a "bar" style hinged door compartment. She is in good condition, with some small imperfections, normal for her age. Dimensions: W167.5 x D45.5 x H74cm. Large storage capacity, good size, and very nice style. On the back of the furniture, remains of a self-adhesive label of manufacture.

L 'former owner used this piece of furniture as a TV stand (this is often the case), and he drilled a hole in the rough wooden panel on the back of the furniture. This hole is not at all visible in normal use with the cabinet back to the wall.
