Pair of vintage children's chairs, large size model by Casala

Super cool, mid-century children's school chairs edited by casala, in Germany design by , which manufactured Karl Nothhelfer children's furniture that were used throughout Europe between the 1960s and 1990s. The summer chairs are available in different sizes, all marked with a different coloured sticker for each size. ~ The blue dot: small size, for toddlers. ~ the yellow dot: medium size, for children between 4 and 8 years old. ~ the green dot: large size (these models), for children from 8 to 12 years old and which is also the most sought-after in the size range offered. The chairs consist of a frame and seat made of solid beech wood and a seat and backrest made of folded beech wood. All skates are present. Both chairs are in perfect original condition, with traces and marks of use and usage as well as marks and patina of time in accordance with their age (see photos). I stipulated good condition because they are in good condition, I could have chosen the easy way out and sanded the chairs and rebuilt them as a new product, but what I like about them is the story behind them, the number of children, the scribbles and stories they must have heard, so for me that's what I'm looking for in a vintage product, namely a story and experience, but they have been fully checked and cleaned because I don't sell dust. The chairs are comfortable, stable, solid and robust, with a very elegant, ergonomic design. And timeless. Dimensions. Total height: 73 cm. Seat height: 4142 cm.
