Like many other luxury leather brands, Sede's furniture manufacturer was originally a leather goods workshop. Located in Klingnau (in the north of Switzerland, near the German border) de Sede's business of manufacturing high-end furniture dates back to 1965. At that time, the family business was just being established, and gradually began working with designers from all over the world on the creation of high-end, hand-made leather chairs, armchairs and sofas. Over the years, the product range has expanded to include tables, beds, and many more. Generous proportions balanced by elegant silhouettes: that's de Sede's trademark. Quality craftsmanship for products that are solid and durable over time. According to company figures, de Sede AG currently manufactures more than 11,000 pieces of furniture a year, 70 of which are exported and sold in more than 40 countries. Each year, approximately 32,000 m2 of quality leather is processed in an 11,000 m2 production area.
