Vintage 4 drawer chest by Henri Couture, 1960

This superb chest of drawers of good size, in original vintage condition has everything we like. The spindle legs take a little height and give elegance and lightness to this piece of furniture from the 60's. The four-drawer front, the original 8 square brass handles and the sharp-edged side panels bring dynamism and originality to the whole. The 4 drawers are high and will allow you to easily organize piles of clothes or other items. Finally, the color of the wood is soft and shiny In the entrance or the bedroom, this chest of drawers will attract the attention. The piece has a trademark of the company Henri couture in Antigny attached to the back paper, the quality of the paper shows you how much this piece has been pampered over the years by the previous owner who acquired it in 1963.The chest of drawers is made of solid wood with dark teak veneer on the surrounds and top and blond teak veneer on the drawers which gives you a two-tone effect depending on the angle you look at it. There are some very slight antique marks of time and use on the panels, the top drawer and a tiny lack of veneer on the back right (see photos), the legs. All drawers work perfectly and are impeccable. The chest of drawers is in very good condition, stable and sturdy. Excellent condition for this chest of drawers. Drawer dimensions: 74 width, 34 depth.
