Vintage coffee table with spider legs, 1960

Mid-century, vintage, coffee table with "spider legs" made of rattan, bamboo and clear wood, from the 60’s. The coffee table is in overall, excellent original condition, with very light signs of usage on the top (see photos) and beautiful patina of time. The piece has just been cleaned and gently polished with flaxseed oil, to preserve the original condition and integrity. The spider legs and structure are made of clear wood and bamboo. The four sides of the table’s legs, showcase a stunning, bentwood "teardrop" decor made with rattan and bamboo. The top has a lattice pattern, made of woven rattan, with a beautiful, light gold to warm, golden-blonde finish. There are a couple of minor chips on the top in accordance with the age of the piece (see photos.) The table is both solid and stable, with a fantastic design, truly inspired by nature that will compliment any given mid-century modern, rustic-contemporary or retro-bohemian space.
