Entrepreneur Frits Loeb (1889-1959) first sold his chairs at the Ganzenmarkt in Utrecht. UMS is growing fast and is becoming a large factory with furniture production and sales locations throughout the country. After the Second World War, the company sold furniture under a different brand name: PasToe (passe partout). During that period, Cees Braakman succeeds his father as manager and designer. Pastoe has been making furniture for the general public from the start. In the 1950s, Pastoe focused on storage furniture and cabinets, and later chairs were also produced. The starting point always remains: pure design and quality. The set is in special beautiful condition 2 chairs are clearly used and look worn. (simple black spraying is an option). The others are in good condition. The table is in good condition.
