This is a beautiful set of lounge chairs designed by Nanna & Jorgen Ditzel made by Ludvig Pontoppidan and R.Wengler in Denmark. This set is from 1990. Kettal edits the Basket chair, designed in the 1950s by the Danish designers Nanna and Jørgen Ditzel. The Basket chair, made of oak, comes in the original version of the Ditzel, hand-woven in cane, and in an outdoor version, made of synthetic fiber and teak. About the Designers: The basket chair won an award in 1950 for the best furniture makers. In 1950 Nanna & Jorgen Ditzel designed a Bowl chair and a basket hanging on an oak frame. A beautiful organic shape with wonderful seating comfort.
