Set of 4 vintage armchairs by Gae Aulenti for Knoll, 1975

Suite of four armchairs, designed by the famous Italian designer Gae Aulenti (1927-2012) and published by the influential American company Knoll, founded in 1938. The "Orsay" model, a classic and unmistakable one, is characterized by its bent and welded steel structure, here lacquered in black. The rounded backrest and the comfortable seat are made of a single piece of plywood, bent at the junction, and covered with a grey fabric. In addition to the modernity of this suite of armchairs, one can appreciate the subtle marriage between the straightness of the legs and the curvature of the lines.
