Danish vintage pendant lamp Verona by Svend Middelboe for Nordisk Solar, 1960s

The lamp was designed by Svend Middelboe in 1962 and manufactured by Nordisk Solar. It is a pearl of not only Danish but also global design. The individual lamp shadows are arranged in a funnel shape towards the center so that the light is reflected at the top and bottom of the lamp. The reflection ensures an even light distribution over the lamp surface. The lamp is in average condition, it has chips, scratches, and patina. It is an original specimen produced by Nordisk Solar. It is a smaller version of the lamp. Dimensions: diameter 39cm height 30cm The lamp has been thoroughly cleaned and a new 2-meter long braided cable has been installed. A canopy is attached to each lamp. Please note that the items we sell are used items, often 40-50 years old, and therefore have traces of use that cannot always be captured in the photos.
