Danish teak vintage bookcase with secretaire and tambour doors by Johannes Sorth for Nexo, 1960s

This beautiful Danish wall unitbookcase was designed by Johannes Sorth for Nexo in the 1960s. It is a marvelous example of high-quality Danish mid-century carpentry combined elegance and functionalism. The bookcase consists of two adjustable shelves, a cabinet with sliding doors, and also a secretaire with a pull-out desk with many small compartments, and three small drawers hidden behind tambour doors. This piece of furniture can help one create a discreet space for a home office while ensuring just enough place for storage, books, and decorations. The unit stands on a solid teak base. The rest is made out of teak veneer with solid teak accents. Overall is in excellent original vintage condition with minor traces of use.
