Scandinavian vintage gilded oakwood secretary on compass legs, 1950

Scandinavian style vintage secretary on compass legs, 1950s. Made of plywood with a golden oak color, this piece has a beautiful design. At the front, a functional door with its original key a tiny bit loose, but the door opens and closes without any problem (slight resistance to almost closing, which should decrease with regular use). Above the room, there is a 1st shelf, measuring W:65 x D:21. Once the door is down, it becomes a desk, revealing the original reddish vinyl surface. There is a small tear, (see photo) and some old marks, traces of age and previous use (see photo), but nothing that interferes with the overall look. The height between the open door and the floor is 76 cm. The depth with the door open is 74 cm. The interior has 8 compartments, 2 of which have some old usage marks (see photos.) The 2 compartments on the extreme left and right measure H:17,5 cm x W:23 cm x D:16 cm. The 3 middle compartments measure H:11 cm x W:21 cm x D:16 cm. The bottom one measures H:10 cm x W:69 cm x D:23 cm. Under the door is a shelf measuring H:21.5 cm x W:69 cm x D:27 cm. Finally, under the bottom shelf, there is a storage space with 2 sliding doors, which work properly, each with their original brass coloured handles. The interior measurements of this space are:H:21 cm x W:69 cm x D:27 cm. The 2 side panels of the room, are simply elegant, with a depth at the top at 22.5 cm, which widens at the bottom by 35 cm. The piece is overall in very good original vintage condition with some light marks and signs of age and previous use commensurate with the time, and a nice patina of age, on the overall structure, door, shelves, handles and legs (see photos.)
