Vintage "Pod" armchair by Mario Sabot, Italy 1960

This Pod Chair is an eye-catching design by Mario Sabot, manufactured in Italy around 1960 The round fiberglass shell has an appealing blue purple colour. The seat is upholstered in beige faux suede, which is the original upholstery The colours and materials of the seat and shell match really nicely. The chair has a fantastic space age style appearance and the seat is really comfortable. It remains in very good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
