Mid century formica and brass side table with two shelves, 1973s

Fantastic vintage mid-century formica and brass side table with two shelves, made in 1973. The top and lower shelf are made of formica and have a rich brown color with a "faux" rosewood effect, which really stands out, in contrast with the edges, and the gilded brass frame. Under each shelf is a stamp marked "9, APRIL 1973" (see photo.) At the back of each tray, there are small rivets at the junction of the edging, to keep it in place (see photos.) The table is in good overall condition, original vintage, with some age and use marks and signs of fading, commensurate with the time on the tops, legs and edges, but nothing that affects its functionality or cool appearance (see photos. ) ~ Patina consistent with age and use over time. ~ The piece has only been cleaned and buffed, respecting the original patina. ~ The four legs have their black tips which are in good condition. ~ The table is solid, sturdy and stable. A beautiful piece to use anywhere, whether in an entry hallway, as a side or end table in the living room, den or library. Can also be used as a bedside table in a bedroom, in a bathroom for storage and organization, as a plant stand or as an accent piece on which to place other decorative items.
