Mid century hanging lamp for Fog & Morup, Denmark 1960s

A lovely hanging lamp, nicely made in the style of Jo Hammerborg for Fog & Morup in Denmark, made around 1960. The black lacquered metal piece is nicely complimented by the warm coloured brass details, adding a sense of luxury to the piece that fits it really well. The hood has some small perforations that emit some additional light when lit, creating a unique extra dimension to the style of this piece It emits a bright, downwards light as shown in photos. The ceiling rose has the same colour as the brass details in the lamp, which is a lovely detail It remains in good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
