He was known for the lamps he created for famous Danish furniture companies, and then for his own brand in the 1950's: Holm Sørensen & Co. The brand started to produce table lamps, but quickly grew, especially thanks to Holm-Sørensen's special technique for working and processing copper. This special technique also influenced the design of this pendant lamp. The process has created a burnt look and rustic edges, which gives the lamp its brutalist look.
