Vintage Chest of 4 Drawers on Compass Feet 1960s

Mid-60's vintage oak chest of drawers with four drawers, on compass legs, Scandinavian style. This piece is in excellent original condition, with minimal signs of age and time-proportionate use on the top, side panels and legs (see photos.) Acquired from its original owners, who have taken very good care of it. It has four drawers that open and close perfectly, and comes with its original 8 brass handles, which show very slight signs of age in relation to time (see photos.) Made from solid warm coloured oak with a golden oak colour finish and varnish, the piece has also retained its beautiful original patina from time. It has only been lightly dusted and polished, in keeping with the original patina, to enhance the rich, warm colours. The 4 legs are also in very good condition. The 2 fronts are compassed adding an overall level of elegance to the piece. The piece remains stable and solid, with wonderful storage capacity.
