Vintage Credenza in walnut bu Rudolf Glatzel for Fristho 1956s

Elegant and well made long walnut credenza by Rudolf Glatzel for Dutch manufacturer Fristho in 1956. This large and striking item is executed in a beautiful walnut. The side board is composed of a storage compartment set on a cross legged base. The total storage consists of two elements: a unit with four well executed drawers and large sculptured handles, and a unit with two sliding doors (and an extra shelf inside). All is fixated and can’t be rearranged without showing the original (screw) holes. This item is in almost perfect condition, the old layers of varnish were professionally removed and the wood got a new wax coating, in which the colour and texture of the wood truly comes to life.
