Set of 6 vintage pine chairs Brutaliste by Rainer Daumiller for Hirtshals Savvaerk 1970

This superb set of chairs in daumiller pine is of the famous daumiller design. The chairs were designed in a brutal way by daumiller grooving in the 1970s for the hirtshals sawmills in Denmark. The chairs have a solid pine frame and the design consists of 4 central columns which are present from top to bottom. Around the 4 columns a central seat has been built. The seat has an ergonomic shape and therefore offers optimal comfort. The upper part consists of an integrated armrest. Despite the bare wood, the seats are remarkably comfortable. The chairs have been extremely well constructed and are designed to last several lives. The original markings are still present underneath the chair. The chairs are in good general condition with some visible discoloration.
