Vintage rosewood highboard Belgium 1970

This very elegant bar furniture is of unknown design and manufacture but certainly of Belgian origin (as confirmed by the previous owner). It is certainly in the style of Alfred Hendrickx, Pieter de Bruyne and Jos de Mey, but it is a little different in detail. The rosewood bar cabinet consists of a polished steel frame that forms the base. The upper part is completely covered with rosewood veneer. The bar cabinet consists of a large cabinet on the right side with a key lock and two dividing boards. On the top left there is a bar cabinet with a key lock, a glass dividing plate and glass veneered sides with a separate light that works when the cabinet door is opened. Underneath there are 3 horizontal drawers. At the top there is a stainless steel strip for decoration and the top is also rosewood veneered. The general condition of the room is good and completely solid. The rosewood has been remarkably well preserved without strong discoloration. There are some traces of use on the top plate in the veneer. Also, the steel frame shows slight visible wear. The glass plate shows some small chips and the sides of the glass are slightly discoloured.
