Solid mahogany vintage coin tray 1950's

This is a solid wood tray used to hold coins, dating from the 1950s. Originally, this coin was to be placed in a drawer and then lifted up using the brass handle on the finger ring for overnight storage. Very well patinated all over the surface with a solid brass handle. Can be used in many different ways, would make a wonderful bowl to hold fruit or keys or used to store kitchen herbs, etc. Measures: 33 x 26 x 7.5 cm high.
