Vintage Maison Charles side table granite & gilt bronze French 1940s

Maison Charles style wine side table, granite & gold plated gilt bronze, 1940’s ca, French. This vintage table has been thoroughly cleaned respecting the antique patina. It is ready to use. This quality solid bronze cast table would make an elegant drinks or side table. The Neo-classical features executed in solid brass suggest this table could be from Maison Charles which the attributed maker. This occasional table would suit a wide range of decors from Traditional, Hollywood Regency, Art Deco or Contemporary Minimalist. The octagonal top is in the style of a specimen table with granite veneer cut in a flattering butterfly pattern.. The table top is supported by an elegant baluster column. The column rises from a tripod base. This table is all in very good condition. The bronze is free from any damages or major marks and has warm antique patina developed over the years. The table is sturdy and has a very good weight. The underside of the table top is finished with detail. Packing is included in this price. We take special care in packing. The stone top will be removed and wrapped in bubble wrap can an outer layer of card. The bronze base will be wrapped similarly.
