Vilhelm Wohlert designed the Wohlert lamp in 1959. Louis Poulsen commissioned him to design lamps for different room sizes. In addition, installation, replacement of the light source and maintenance were to be easy. Initially, Wohlert was called Sattelite on the Danish market, now the international name has been changed to Wohlert after the name of the designer. Wohlert is suitable for lighting any room. The matt glass surface provides even and diffused light. The hole in the bottom of the luminaire gives direct light directed downwards. The cable can be exchanged for any length. A headliner is attached to each lamp. Vilhelm Wohlert è stato un designer danese nato il 10 maggio 1920 a Copenaghen e morto il 10 maggio 2007. È noto soprattutto per il suo lavoro nel campo dell'architettura e dell'interior design ed è stato un membro chiave del movimento modernista danese.
